Junior Achievement is the world’s largest organization dedicated to giving students from kindergarten to high school the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their future and make smart academic and economic choices.
Through the JA in-class program and the 5th grade capstone experience (JA City Biztown), students learn the basic concepts of business and economics and how education is relevant to the workplace. JA helps young people understand the connection between what they’re learning in school and how it applies to their lives in the real world. The JA lessons are taught by parent and community volunteers, who deliver hands-on activities, while also sharing their experiences with students to empower, inspire and prepare.
